Welcome to Williams and Bunkell Fishmongers

We’re a traditional fishmonger’s based in Claygate, Surrey since 1989, with over 70 years combined experience between us! We have a well-established reputation in the local area and beyond, and pride ourselves on sourcing our products with the greatest care, and where possible, from around Britain.

We have won multiple awards, are recommended by Gourmet Britain and are proud members of Local Food Britain.

Home smoked salmon

Have you tried our smoked salmon yet? Our multi-award winning product has achieved Great Taste stars 3 times – in 2014, 2016 and 2018! In Great Taste terms, to win a star for a product means that it is ‘simply delicious’ and that it differentiates a product from the norm. Products are judged by a minimum of 10 palates.

Here’s what sets our smoked salmon apart from the rest:

  • We smoke and hand slice it ourselves.
  • We use the finest quality Shetland salmon from small independent farms.
  • We dry cure it for 24 hours before smoking it over pure oak for 18 hours.
